Plumbing rough-in is the critical, pre-drywall phase of construction where licensed plumbers install essential water supply lines, drain-waste-vent (DWV) pipes, and gas lines within walls, floors, and ceilings. This foundational stage ensures proper system function, code compliance, and future fixture installation before covering with drywall or concrete.
